WebI'm on a map that has no coast, but does have a large river. However, it has no ship connection at the end of it. The mods 'More Network Stuff' and 'Unlimited outside connections' will let you add new ship connections... to a tile that is already designated as having them. I don't have such a tile. The connection must be drawn in the direction you need it.
