With Oratory 1990's Harman target EQ they sound incredible. I actually love the stock sound though 🤷. They sound like a natural progression of the HD6xx. But to be fair I thought the K7xx was awful but that was because EQ didn’t fix it and you could get a K702 or K612 which was just better for the same price brand new. I know that I could of EQd them, but I ended up ordering the HD8xx instead. Figured I would rather EQ their mids up, than the 800S highs down and bass up. (Also saved $530 in my currency).
