Webb21 juni 2024 · I already had Sims 4 on Origin, but wanted to grab the base game while its on sale on steam to be able to take advantage of discounts on the DLC on either platform. I got to the point where it had me link to my EA account and origin, but I cannot get the game to actually start. Trying to launch through either made it install separate versions. I was unable to launch the Sims at all, it showed in the left hand panel in the EA App but I couldn't click Play, and then when I went into my library it dodn't show up. I found I was able to play by putting the EA App into Offline Mode.
